Set Sail Counseling will be closed on Wednesday, November 26th so that our owners can travel and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with their families. We are regularly closed Thursdays-Sundays, which means we will resume normal hours on Monday, December 1st.
We know this can be a particularly difficult time of year for many people. Creating a short list of things that you are grateful for can be a helpful reminder that you aren’t alone. Our Practice Manager and Co-Owner, Sam, has some of her own examples to get you started:
-A warm place to call “home”
-My service dog, Mesa, and how soft her ears are
-Fettuccine alfredo
-Working with the amazing clinicians at Set Sail
-Drag shows
-The feeling of holding a warm coffee on a cold morning
If you find yourself experiencing a mental health crisis, please utilize supports available to you through Crisis Intervention Services. If you live in Dauphin County, where our office is located, you can reach their Crisis center by calling 1-888-596-4447. You can also contact 988 by phone or text. If you are a client here at Set Sail, you can reach out to your therapist directly.
We wish each and every one of you a safe and happy holiday!
