If you experience an emergency of any kind that requires immediate attention, you are advised to call 911, call Crisis Intervention, and/or go to the nearest emergency room.
Time to take and return calls is limited– we believe in practicing what we preach, and that means allowing our staff to have the best work-life balance possible. Most questions should be reserved for your sessions.
Calls outside of usual business hours (such as weekends and holidays) should be limited to emergency situations. An emergency is a life or death situation where immediate action can prevent this or the condition from becoming worse, severe, or life threatening. (Examples include suicidal plan, suicidal intent, or drug overdose.)
Messages are checked regularly, and emergency calls will be returned as soon as possible. Refer to the list of Crisis Intervention telephone numbers for additional support, should you feel you need it and are unable to reach your therapist.
